Management Systems Principles
Quanta Marine maintains accredited certifications for all three of its management systems. All three systems include a number of management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, process approach and continual improvement.
ISO 9001:2015– Quality
Quanta Marine obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification from ABS December 14th 2009 and transitioned to ISO 9001:2015 on January 17th 2018. ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for risk management, continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. All requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are intended to be applicable to all organizations, regardless of type, size and product provided.
ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental
Quanta Marine obtained ISO 14001:2004 certification from ABS March 3rd 2015 and transitioned to ISO 14001:2015 on January 17th 2018. The ISO 14001 standard addresses various aspects of environmental & risk management. It provides practical tools for companies and organizations looking to identify and control their environmental impact and constantly improve their environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015 sets out the criteria for a certified and documented environmental management system. It does not state requirements for environmental performance, but rather maps out a framework
